Join husband and wife Broadway stars, Emily Padgett and Josh Young, on a musical
journey through the 80 year union of cinema and musical theater with Broadway At The
Movies. Featuring the most beloved and universally celebrated songs from classics such as
“The Wizard of Oz”, “West Side Story”, “Carousel”, “The Sound Of Music” and more recent
adaptations like “Les Miserables”, “Into The Woods” and “The Little Mermaid.”
From film’s first foray into musicals, Young and Padgett will lead you through movie-musical
history beginning in the 1920’s to current hits, including the ever popular Disney animated
catalogue. Bringing fascinating backstage tales as well as personal insight and anecdotes
from their 15 year friendship, these two will steal your heart. Critics have said “...when they

Mr. Young recently originated the role of John Newton in the Broadway World Premiere of
Amazing Grace. Josh is also a 5 time Broadway World Award Winner, Theater World Award
winner and Tony Award Nominee for his critically acclaimed turn as Judas in the Broadway
Revival of Jesus Christ Superstar.
